Dare to be Square ACTION!

I've got a soft spot for square photos. Perhaps it's due to my type-A personality (I like to have everything nicely even, ya know)...or perhaps it's simply because I have a ton of square picture frames through out my house. Regardless the reason, I love 'em - and I'm sure you can appreciate today's square action just as much as I do :)

Gowanus or bust ACTION!

I instantly dug pretty much everything about this shot from Travis, taken in the Gowanus neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. There's the killer attitude, perfect framing, great lighting...what's not to love?!

Parents to be ACTION!

And speaking of a perfect shot - check out this one from Thomas van Ardenne, shot in Amersfoort, The Netherlands. Look closely at jumpers Jiske & Manolito and you'll notice that Mama bear is with child. Way to represent the action shot for pregnant women everywhere!
