Headin' south to Mobile, Alabama, where we find Hilary's near canon ball shot - if you didn't know better, you'd think she was jumping into a pool, with such great form!

Veering east to the University of Wisconsin-Stout campus in Menomonie, where we find Rachel's happy-go-lucky shot - I'm diggin' the contagious happiness of this shot!

Mary Poppins ACTION!

Wrappin' it up the neighborhood of Fresh Meadows, in Queens, New York, where we have Kim's whimsical shot of pals Silvia & Nawal - the bench AND umbrellas in one shot makes me love this one even more!

Back to the Beach ACTION!

I woke up today to an overcast sky and a 51 degree temperature....in Colorado...in JULY! As someone who doesn't have the luxury of air conditioning, the cold front has been a welcome reprieve from the Summer heat - BUT, that doesn't mean I wouldn't jump ship in heart beat and head to the beach for some action fun in the sun :)

Great day to be alive ACTION!

Check out Drew's merry shot from Garden City, South Carolina. They jump for the sand, the surf, the sun...all great reasons to be alive!

Cornwall calling ACTION!

Then we have Fiona's jovial shot from Cornwall, England. This little guy sure has a lively spirit - wonder if he could share some of it with all the negative peeps in the world?!

It's Wednesday! We've made it half way through the week....and if that's not reason to throw those hands in the air and jump in celebration, then I don't know what is :)

First up - Glacier National Park, Montana, where we find one of Tomie's shots from her globe trotting adventures. X marks the spot of a gorgeous destination!

Mount Teide ACTION!

Next up - Tenerife, one of the seven Canary Islands of Spain, where we find Patricil's exciting shot. Also called the "Island of Eternal Springtime", this looks like the perfect place to stop and enjoy some action!

Pharaoh of Egypt ACTION!

Last up - Luxor, Egypt, where we see Mario's impressive shot. Taken outside Hatshepsut's Tomb, he witnessed some history that is certainly worth jumping for!

We'll start with Xtella's shot from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines (also known as the City of Golden Friendship). Cousin Franco, sis Nicole, and friends Jem & Jamie are the energetic players in this impressive air pic!

Thunderbird ACTION!

Still in the Philippines, we come to Jenn's shot from the Thunderbird Resort in San Fernando City, La Union. These gals have excellent jump timing AND taste in vacation destinations!

Under the Tuscan arch ACTION!

Jumpin' continents to Mark's shot from the market town of Chianti, in Tuscany, Italy. His wonderful wife played photog for this fun family shot while on vacation in wine country.

City of rivers ACTION!

Wrappin' it up with Charlie's shot from the historic town of Xitang, China. You can see one of the nine rivers that converge in this fairyland. I would be jumping for joy in this beautiful town, too...it's definitely found a place on my "must see" travel list!

I don't know about everyone else, but for me it's hard to wake up rip rarin' to go first thing on a Monday morning. The week begins a little grey, and then slowly but surely, color starts to ease it's way back in as things start to come back to life.

Today's shots represent that process - from black & white to full fledged color, enjoy the various shades of some great action :)

Starting today in Tartu, Estonia, where we see Kerli's hopscotchin' shot at the local Rec Center. There's a LOT of energy in this Baltic city, where half of the 100,000 citizens are students - that should set the pace for a ton of action!

Flash of color ACTION!

Headin' south east to Bad Kissingen, Germany, where we find Daniel's catchy shots. Simon, Ren, and Isa sparkle with life as they take a moment to embrace some action!

Discovery green ACTION! Ending our trip in Houston, Texas, where we come to Jamie's happy-go-lucky shot. A colorful wall at Discovery Green provides the perfect rainbow backdrop for a colorful jump!

Dog Day Afternoon ACTION!

Today we combine three of my favorite things in the whole, wide world...

Tell me Klara's shot from Berrien Springs, Michigan isn't one of the coolest you've seen in a loooong time?! The shadows - awesome...the dog - super cute...the jump - perfect!

Next up is Shannon Lepere's shot of Michah & Mingus from Thunder Bay, Canada. Taken for her friend's clothing store, The Loop - such a creative and fun ad that's sure to draw a ton of attention!

Last, but not least, we head to Lane County, Oregon where we have Skye Harvey's shot. I love this capture...looks serious, but no doubt that sweet pooch is all bark and no bite ;)

Ahhhhh....I don't know about everyone else but I slept like a baby last night! And, as an extra little treat, I woke up to a beautiful, cool, overcast morning - such a welcome reprieve from the hot weather of the past few days.

The coffee hasn't yet set in, so my brain is still in low-key morning mode...but I think today's fun shots will help jump start my day - hope they do the same for you, too :)

It's funny how quickly things can change in just one week. Last Friday, I was ready to rip my hair out from the work over load....this Friday, I'm ready to relax and play the day away. Because it's such a fantastic Friday (on the brink of a wonderful weekend), we're living it up big time with double stuffed post today. Last, but not least, we come to Wendy's wonderful shot from Christchurch quay in Dorset, England - I think her gorgeous grand-daughter won the jump-off with the swan!

I love a good prop when it comes to action - particularly a 4 wheeled one that goes zoom zoom! Whether it's a shinny new truck, a big ol' comfy touring bus, or a decorated little clunker, the automobile adds a little spice to an already fabulous shot :)

I'm draggin' a bit this Monday morning, after a much needed weekend reprieve from work. Wouldn't it be nice if weekends could just last forever?!
