Happy Halloween ACTION!

See, I am good for my word! I told you today was the day ;) Now, the key is to stick with it...no more of these unexpected breaks!

Soooo, we find ourselves at Halloween (where ever did October go??). Unfortunately, I don't have any dress-up action...but I do have a few shots from my Mom's recent visit (which was, as I mentioned, one of the reasons for my lack of posting...we managed to keep ourselves beyond busy, yet again!).

Antero ACTION!

One of the many highlights from her visit was our guided fishing trip with Tightline Outfitters. Despite the bitter cold (hence the ridiculous layered look we're sporting ;), it was an awesome trip to some of the most beautiful Colorado landscape. Of course, my Mom, great friend Glo (her son, Nathan, was our trusty guide), and I managed to pause for some action at Antero Reservoir, just outside Fairplay (which, btw, is the basis for the hit cartoon South Park).

And I know this isn't an action shot, but just to show you how incredibly beatiful it was there, I have to share this: ...and AND, just to ensure you've got your fill of CO triva - Mount Antero is the 10th highest peak in the state at an elevation of 14, 269 ft.

Sorry, Charlies - I tried to make it through Wednesday, but to no avail. Ended up bringing work home last night, getting in yet another "land lord-tenant" disagreement this morning, yada yada yada. Long story short...we are now officially on an action break until we get moved & settled.

I'll be honest - I'd be happier about today if Jeff hadn't forgotten his house key and decided it would be a good idea to bang on the bedroom window at 5:50 in the morning, thus snapping me out of my cozy slumber to let him in. So, here I am, half asleep & grumpy, starting my day with 40 minutes less sleep than is need to make me nice & pleasant on this good Friday morning.

BUT, that won't stop me from being uber grateful it's Friday...and it certainly won't stop me from enjoying today's action :)
